Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless his Holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with His steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Psalm 103: 1-5
Forget not his benefits. I haven’t forgotten his benefits these are just a few of the benefits of who we are in Christ.
I am forgiven. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth that is not in us, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
I am healed. He himself bore our sin in his body on the tree that we might die to sin and live to righteousness, By His wounds you (I) have been healed. I Peter 2:24
I am redeemed. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, by becoming a curse for us–for it is written, Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree; so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith. Galatians 2: 13-14
I am a princess, crowned with His steadfast love. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never com to an end; they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3: 22-23
I am hopeful. The Lord is my portion, says my soul therefore I will hope in Him. Lamentations 3:24
I am renewed. But they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings, “like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Count your blessings, name them one by one. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. I have hope. This enough, yet there are more blessings and promises all we have to do is open his word, pray and recall his blessings one by one.
